Easy to use for my investments

I just needed a way to see all my investments in one spot, you know? So I tried Kubera's Portfolio Tracker. It was pretty easy to link my accounts. The dashboard is simple and not too cluttered. It syncs up pretty fast most of the time. My only minor thing was finding the exact setting for one of my smaller funds. But otherwise, it's cool. Does what I need it to.

Good net worth tracker

I tried the Net Worth Tracker. Setup was quick. It linked my bank and investment accounts without issues. The dashboard is clean. It shows all my assets clearly. I'm happy with it.

Consistently reliable service

This isn't my first time using Kubera; I've been a subscriber for a couple of years now. I started with just the Net Worth Tracker and added the Debt and Liability Tracker last year. My experience has been consistent. Accounts sync regularly, and the dashboard is always up-to-date. I even used the Estate Planning Vault feature recently, and it worked as expected. They've maintained their reliability, which is why I keep renewing. It's a dependable tool for keeping all my financial info organized, just like my previous orders.

Solid tool, minor sync issue

I purchased the annual subscription after the trial to use the Portfolio Tracker and Global Bank Account Aggregation. Overall, it's a very robust tool for managing finances. Most of my accounts synced well, but one smaller brokerage took a bit longer to connect, which was a minor inconvenience. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about it. The real-time reporting dashboard is a big plus. It's good value, though some UI elements could be a bit more intuitive.

Worth the annual discount

I was looking for a good deal on a financial tracker and saw the annual subscription discount for Kubera. I signed up for the Net Worth Tracker and it's been great. Saving that 15% by going annual made it feel like a smart purchase. I linked my crypto wallet and brokerage account. Everything was visible in one place, which was my main goal. For the price I paid, it's definitely worth it. I felt I got good value for my money.

Detailed tracking, some setup required

I opted for Kubera primarily for its comprehensive asset tracking features, specifically the Real Estate Valuation and LP Position Management. Ordering the annual plan was straightforward on their website. Delivery isn't really a thing for software, but access was instant. Setting up all the various accounts, especially the less common ones like private equity, required some patience and manual input, as expected. The AI Sync Engine worked well for my mainstream accounts. The multi-currency support is excellent for my international holdings. I did reach out to support once about a specific data export query, and they provided a helpful, clear answer within a day. The Historical Net Worth Charts are insightful for long-term planning. It helps future shoppers understand what to expect.

Thinking about signing up for Kubera, but curious about the whole 'dead man's switch' thing. How exactly does that work if something happens?

P Priya Vargas 3 months ago
From what I understand, it's basically a way to give someone access to your financial info if you become unresponsive. You set up a trusted contact and if you don't log in for a set period, they get notified. It's for estate planning, pretty neat.

Yeah, it's not like they just get full access immediately. You designate someone and it only triggers after a period of inactivity you set. It's more of a failsafe to make sure your loved ones can sort things out if you're, well, gone.

Quick question about discounts. I'm thinking of getting Kubera for the year, but hoping to save a bit. Are there any reliable coupon codes floating around, or should I just go for the annual plan for the savings?

R Rosa 2 months ago
Coupon codes are super rare, honestly. I think sometimes you get them through specific partners or if you catch a Black Friday type deal. Your best bet for saving is just to pay for the annual subscription, it's cheaper than monthly.

Yeah, don't hold your breath for a random coupon. The annual plan usually gives you a solid 15-20% off compared to monthly, so that's the main discount. Keep an eye out for Black Friday or Cyber Monday though, sometimes they do something then.

How does Kubera compare to Empower (Personal Capital) these days? I've been with PC for a while but always open to better options for tracking everything.

N Nina E. 2 months ago
Kubera is more focused on actual net worth tracking across *everything* - like, literally all your assets, even physical stuff. Empower is great for investments, but Kubera takes it to another level with real estate, crypto, even private equity. It's more detailed if you have a lot of different asset classes.

I switched from Empower to Kubera because I needed better crypto integration and wanted to track illiquid assets. Empower was good for my stock portfolio but Kubera just pulls in so much more, and the dashboard is cleaner IMO.

Does Kubera actually support international bank accounts? I have some accounts in Canada and Europe and it'd be awesome to see them all in one place.

A Amber 2 months ago
Yeah, they do! One of the big selling points is their global aggregation. I have accounts in a couple of different countries and it syncs them up fine. It's not just US banks.

Yep, multi-currency support is a thing. It was a key reason I signed up. Just make sure your specific international bank is supported, though most major ones are.

Hey, anyone know if Kubera is generally considered safe for linking all your bank accounts and stuff? I'm a bit paranoid about giving an app access to everything.

E Emma 2 months ago
I've been using it for over a year with no issues. They use pretty standard encryption and security measures. I think they don't actually store your login credentials directly, but use a secure third-party aggregator.

Totally get the paranoia, it's your money! But yeah, it's designed for this kind of thing. They're a legit company, not some fly-by-night operation. I felt comfortable enough after reading up on their security practices.
